What information do we collect?
We collect four kinds of information from visitors to : feedback (through our contact us form), personal and business details collected via forms when you enter an award, and site usage information, from session cookies and log files.
Your personal data
If you contact us, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and e-mail address) in order to communicate your enquiry to us. Such enquiries include e-mail correspondence, website feedback, or suggesting an idea / application.
By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable Mendip Business Awards and its service providers to provide you with the services you select. Any personal information you provide to us will only be used by us, our agents and service providers, and will not be disclosed unless we are obliged or permitted to by law to do so.
If you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on this site, we may use whatever information about you is available to us to stop such behaviour.
You can send us your feedback by using the contact information via the contact us page using the online form, or by telephoning or writing to us using the contact details published in the terms and conditions.
We will not share your personal details with any private company. We will hold your data for a period of 2 years, after which it will be deleted unless you request that we do so before this time.
Site usage information
We want to make our website useful and reliable, which sometimes involves placing small amounts of information on your computer or other device. Log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site. We keep log file information collected from all our visitors, which we use to make changes to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it.

What happens when I link to another site?

You can change your registration information or de-register from the e-mail alert facility at any time. To do this, you should choose "Change your registration" and change your details or choose "remove me from all e-mail alerts". Removing yourself from all e-mail alerts removes from our records any details you have given to us.
